Will I Still Be Able to Drink Coffee with Veneers?
Yes! Getting veneers won’t stop you from enjoying coffee. Since porcelain is nonporous, dark-colored beverages like these won’t cause stains as quickly. Of course, they can become discolored over time from overconsumption, which is why we encourage patients to use a straw when they do indulge. About 30 minutes after, use a soft-bristled toothbrush and toothpaste with fluoride to brush your teeth.
Are Veneers Permanent?
Technically, veneers are not permanent. Even with an impressive 15+ year lifespan, there is a chance that they will need to be replaced at some point in the future. It’s worth noting, however, that the removal of your enamel beforehand is irreversible. So, your natural teeth will no longer look as aesthetically pleasing without them. Is There Anything I Can’t Eat with Veneers?
